How To Travel Broke and in High School

The greatest thing about being young: time, beauty, friends, social media, and parents. The only things not going for you are SCHOOL and MONEY. I'm going to show you how those 2 things are going to be the least of your worries.
Day Trips:
OOOOooOhOO this is golden. I took day trips to California and to the Grand Canyon. We'd wake up at the crack of dawn and drive! Put on some jams and get to know each other better. The more, the merrier (and cheaper).

Go on School Trips:
School trips are awesome because you can use ECA money donations, absences are excused, extremely safe, and you're with your classmates! This is how I went to New York City and Hollywood with my greatest friends!

Resources:
Within your friend group, someone is bound to have a cabin or RV. Offer to help with gas money and food and spend the weekend with friends!
Doctors Note:
I had 14 absences in one semester. And I graduated! As long as you are ˢᶦᶜᵏ for any day above your school's limit, a doctor can excuse you for the days you were absent from school! Let me tell you, I planned to use every one.
FREE Trips:
Picnic and drive. Pack a meal to eat and drive to a lake or forest. Bring a speaker and get creative with games or make a video.
Traveling doesn't have to be thousands of dollars or require too much time. Sometimes just getting out of a familiar place is traveling enough! Meet new people, explore new towns, and make those memories!
xo,
